Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’ Matthew 19
Since the start, OAC has considered teaching and reaching children to be part of its call. Beach missions were a significant part of the work in Australia, and continue to be so. This naturally developed into supporting and running clubs in churches and after school activities in the schools themselves. But also there are many wonderful opportunities to present the teaching of the Bible in culturally sensitive ways to whole schools or year groups. At each level the children are taught the stories of the Bible and our workers explain how these are still relevant today. Through our messages they can learn many useful lessons for life and relationships. We teach how people become Christians, allowing each child to go away and consider for themselves the possibility.
In this video, in the current circumstances, there is something we are NOT teaching the children to do. Can you spot it?
Give thanks for many open doors around the world and pray for many more to open.
