With almost 14 million inhabitants, Ecuador is one of the smaller Spanish speaking nations. It spreads from the Amazon basin in the east to the Pacific coast via the high Andes mountains. And it also includes the Galapagos islands, made famous by Darwin’s voyage. Some 8% of the population are evangelicals, but in one province less than 0.1% are believers.
